After five years, the Traeger Redmond wood pellet manufacturing facility is ceasing operations at the end of the month. 'For these people, I'd just like to see them land somewhere where they have a family-wage job with good quality benefits so they don't have to worry about it at the end of the day,' plant manager Rich Evans said. Evans oversees nine employees, all of whom are now looking for jobs. 'I would like to get the word out to all of the manufacturing plants in the Central Oregon area,' Evans said.
